Chicken Fajitas

Chicken Fajitas

Thin strips of chicken breasts are marinated in a homemade fajita seasoning and lemon juice, then grilled till charred for that smokey flavour. The colourful bell peppers and red onions add the perfect touch of vibrancy. This incredibly delicious meal can be served in a variety of ways from Mexican-style tortillas to a hearty meal of spaghetti.

Chicken Fajitas

I initially planned for a Chicken Fajita wraps recipe. But after I had my chicken on tortillas, with noodles, alongside rice I decided to share a basic recipe and let you know of the ways you all can use this chicken. My favourite part of this meal is that it is nutritious, so easy to cook and yet bursting with beautiful flavours. Before heading over to the recipe, let me show you how versatile this spicy filling is.

  • Take a warm tortilla, put some avocado slices, top with the chicken, salsa, cheese sauce/sour cream, chopped tomato and cilantro leaves.
  • Boil some spaghetti and fry it with some garlic-infused oil, salt, pepper and soy sauce. When ready add the chicken on top and enjoy!
  • Toast some burger buns and add your chicken mix inside along with a lettuce leaf, slice of cheese and your favourite burger sauce.
  • Make a side of plain boiled rice or any type of fried rice and have them alongside this succulent chicken.

  • I use olive oil to make these. But you can use whichever oil you prefer.
