This maple cinnamon latte takes about 3 minutes, uses just 4 ingredients, and is an easy at-home alternative to the café version. Lightly sweetened with maple syrup and warmed with cinnamon, it’s balanced, cozy, and works for both chilly mornings and afternoon pick-me-ups.
Add maple syrup, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon to a mug and stir to combine.
Pour in a shot of espresso (or strong coffee) and mix until the cinnamon is evenly dissolved.
Froth the warm milk until foamy, then pour it over the coffee, spooning foam on top.
Finish with a light drizzle of maple syrup, a pinch of cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick if desired.
Notes
For a stronger coffee flavor, use 2 shots of espresso.
Whole milk gives the creamiest foam, but oat or almond milk work well too.
Iced version: Add maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon to a glass and stir to dissolve. Fill the glass with ice, pour over the espresso, then top with (⅔-¾ cup) 150-180ml cold-foamed milk. Stir gently and serve.
Topping ideas: Finish with a drizzle of maple syrup, a light dusting of cinnamon or cinnamon sugar, a spoon of milk foam, or whipped cream.
