Green Tamarind Chutney

 A sweet, spicy and tangy chutney made with a combination of tamarind, mint and green chilies. Serve it with your favourite snacks and enjoy!

Green Mint Chutney and Tamarind Chutney are a staple in every Pakistani household. But what do you get if you combine the two? This Green Tamarind Chutney. The freshness of mint and coriander is fused with the tanginess of tamarind and then a kick of green chilies is added. This chutney is sweet, zesty and fresh!

Green Tamarind Chutney

A sweet, spicy and tangy chutney made with tamarind, mint and green chilies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mint
  • ½ cup fresh coriander
  • 1-2 green chilies
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ½ inch piece ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 3-4 tablespoon tamarind pulp or 1 tablespoon tamarind concentrate mixed with 2 tablespoon water
  • water as required
Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

  • Add everything except water to a mini blender and blitz till combined and smooth.
  • Dilute with water until you get the consistency you like.
  • Store in the fridge in an airtight container for upto 2 weeks.
